Campfire in the Heart is a sacred place of retreat, in the spirit of love the Campfire community welcomes all who come. Read our Vision statement here. The retreat is set in a restful location on Arrernte land along the East MacDonnell Ranges, just seven kilometres from the centre of Alice Springs.

Campfire in the Heart offers a peaceful location for seminars and retreats, as well as cabins overlooking the East Macdonnell Ranges for individual, self-led solitude.

Join our free weekly meditation and gatherings around the campfire! We have a range of regular events, as well as an evolving calendar of extended retreats to inspire and rejuvenate the spirit.
Do you want a long life? Well you will need to have wisdom. You will need to think about your own mind. You will need to work on it. How will you walk along this trail of wisdom? Well, you will go to many places. You must look at them closely, You must remember all of them. You must remember everything they tell you. You must think about it, and keep on thinking about it. You must do this because no one can help you but yourself. Wisdom sits in places. It’s like water that never dries up. You need to drink water to stay alive, don’t you? Well you also need to drink from places.
