Campfire in the Heart is a sacred place of retreat, in the spirit of love the Campfire community welcomes all who come. Read our Vision statement here. The retreat is set in a restful location on Arrernte land along the East MacDonnell Ranges, just seven kilometres from the centre of Alice Springs.

Campfire in the Heart offers a peaceful location for seminars and retreats, as well as cabins overlooking the East Macdonnell Ranges for individual, self-led solitude.

Join our free weekly meditation and gatherings around the campfire! We have a range of regular events, as well as an evolving calendar of extended retreats to inspire and rejuvenate the spirit.
I am not washed and beautiful, in control of a shining world in which everything fits, but instead am wandering awed about on a splintered wreck I\u02bcve come to care for, whose gnawed trees breathe a delicate air, whose bloodied and scarred creatures are my dearest companions, and whose beauty beats and shines not in its imperfections but overwhelmingly in spite of them, under the wind-rent clouds, upstream and down.
