Campfire in the Heart is a sacred place of retreat, in the spirit of love the Campfire community welcomes all who come. Read our Vision statement here. The retreat is set in a restful location on Arrernte land along the East MacDonnell Ranges, just seven kilometres from the centre of Alice Springs.

Campfire in the Heart offers a peaceful location for seminars and retreats, as well as cabins overlooking the East Macdonnell Ranges for individual, self-led solitude.
What’s On
Join our free weekly meditation and gatherings around the campfire! We have a range of regular events, as well as an evolving calendar of extended retreats to inspire and rejuvenate the spirit.
The desert has always been a place of prophetic vision, of purification, of mirage and hallucination. Sometimes we must wander into the wilderness to grasp what is happening to us – to dream and to draw a long bow.
