Thanks to Alice Springs’ new local newspaper Centralian Today who visited recently to cover the upcoming inaugural Alice Springs Writing Retreat, being held at Campfire in the Heart 27-29 October 2023.

Local writers are invited to bask in the beautiful surroundings of Campfire in the Heart on Arrernte country in this fully catered, self-guided writing retreat.

Attendees will leave all their regular commitments behind, and join a community of writers for a weekend of focused writing time. With accommodation options to suit a range of budgets, the retreat will also include daily yoga sessions, use of the meditation centre for writing, lush landscaped gardens, walking trails and swimming pool.
