Practical Mediation Skills

Retreat centre

11 – 15 November 2024.

The Community Justice Centre is offering a training course in Alice Springs in which participants will learn the theory and practice of a mediation process that can be applied in a range of dispute contexts. The training is recommended for anyone interested in increasing their skills in communication and managing conflict, or who are interested in becoming an accredited mediator under the national standards.

The Community Justice Centre (CJC) Practical Mediation Skills course is an intensive 5-day program that blends the theory and practice of mediation. Participants will learn a step-by-step mediation process and develop the knowledge, skills and tools to manage and actively resolve conflict in a range of dispute contexts.

Our trainers are conflict management and dispute resolution practitioners with extensive practical experience and passion for the transformative power of mediation. Participants will also receive personal guidance and feedback from highly-skilled mediator coaches from across the field.
