2012 Program

Throughout the year we run a series of events that give opportunities for people who live and work in remote areas of Australia to nourish their spirit.  We invite people from other places, nationally and internationally to join with us too in this nurture.  By sharing this together we may be more deeply touched by our experience of this wonderful Land and its People.

15th – 21st April 2012

‘Come to the Centre’  A Five Day Retreat with Susanna Pain and Nikolai Blaskow

29th April – 5th May 2012

22nd – 28th July 2012

30th September – 6th October 2012

5 Day ‘Wide Skies and Open Hearts’ Retreats  facilitated by Sue and David WoodsThe Wide Skies and Open Hearts Retreat helps us in our journey with God into the wonder of our  lives and the wonders of Creation.  Through Personal Prayer, Meditation, Scripture Reflection Silence, and an invitation into the Land  each day, we deepen our appreciation and understanding of God’s Spirit in our lives. Maximum number of participants 10.  Mornings will be spent at Campfire in the Heart.  In the afternoons we travel to special places on the Land.

Retreats are run from Sunday evening to Friday evening.  Because there is only one flight per day to Alice Springs from capital cities, we advise people to come on the Sunday and leave on Saturday unless you have plans to stay on and see a little more of the Centre while you are here.

Please call us at 08 8952 6607 or email us for more information on any of these events or for booking options.

We offer self contained accommodation for personal self- directed or              accompanied retreats.

Please call us for details

We invite visitors to walk the labyrinth at any time. Please let us know you are on the property.

Our story

Campfire in the Heart reflects our vision for a place where people can gather to tell their stories, draw strength and sustenance from each other, and grow in their understanding of their life in the Centre.
